League Cup 2019 - 2020
To make the season complete we continue to, for that added excitement, we include the "League Cup", the secondary cup competition, to run alongside the normal League.
Here is how it works.
The Cup is organised on a "Seeded basis", based on final positions from both the Premier League and Division 1 the previous season.
A Preliminary Round is drawn if there are over 32 but under 64 teams taking part. One draw is then made and each rounds potential opponents becoming visible.
Each team will be entered into the cup competition and be drawn against an opponent.
1. The entry fee for the cup is included within the League fee. However, If your subscription of £2.00 for a given month has not been received before the first round is completed (or your first competitive round), and the matches take place in that given month, then you will be eliminated.
2. There will be 4 rounds and a Final. Each round will be played as specified in the dates below and only points scored in these days will count towards your total. The scores will still count towards your League total for that week.
3. The winner of each round will obviously progress into the next round and be able to see who they will be playing. After the Preliminary Round has taken place, one draw is made, whereby you are able to view your potential opponents through to the Final.
4. If two teams end on the same points then there will be a replay the following 7 days. If the scores remain equal the following week then it will go to penalties - The player with the best Goalkeeper points will progress. If it is still equal then i give in!
5. The Cup Winner will receive a cash prise (see PRISES), along with the Runner Up and the Losing Semi-Finalists.
