Challenge Cup 2007 - 2008
HOLDER: Josh Wright - "The Thunder Balls"
Liverpool fan, Josh won the Cup last season , defeating Coffee Beans F.C. in the Final 49 - 19.
Will he emulate his father and become only the second manager to win the Cup twice.
To make the season complete we continue to, for that added excitement, include the "Association Challenge Cup", the main cup competition, to run alongside the normal League.
Preliminary Round Results
( Week 9 - W/C 30th October 2007)
As previously stated, the tie of the round was between Jordan Wright - "Boys Will Be Boys F.C". and Pete Tonks - "Jo-Ter Infinity Utd ". It certainly was a tight affair as the result finished in a 23 - 23 draw and a replay will take place in Week 10 (W/C 6th November 2007).
However, the
result of the round must of been current Champion, Josh Wright, scoring 40 points with his second team and losing by a single point to newcomer Loretta Webb - Well done Loretta!
