"Super Cup"

...Super Cup Champion announced below...

What's New... The 'Super Cup'.

For that added excitement and, based on popular demand, last year we introduced a Champions League style 'Super Cup' whereby those managers finishing in the Top Three of each League at the end of the season will partake in the 'Super League' the following season, along with the two respective Cup Winners (Association Challenge & League), dependent on placings i.e. If the Cup Winners also finish in the top 3 of their respective League then 4th places may occupy.

Here is how it will work.

The Cup is drawn on an "Open Draw" basis, a new draw being made for each round following the preceeding one.

1. Entry fee for the cup will have been paid via the League fees.

2. The First Round will consist of two groups of four teams, a Group A and a Group B, each team playing the other twice, a total of six games. There will be specified dates for each fixture.

3. Points will be awarded as follows: 3 points for a Win and 1 point for a Draw. Points scored in the specific week will count towards your total. The scores will still count towards your League total for that week.

4. The Top two in each Group will qualify for the Semi - Finals. If points are equal then best goal difference will count. If goal difference is equal then most number of goals scored. If still equal then the result between the two teams concerned.

5. Semi - Finals: The Winner of Group A will play the Runner-Up of Group B and the Winner of Group B will play the Runner-Up of Group A in a two-leg knock-out. The Winner of each match will obviously progress into the Final.

6. The Cup Winner will receive a cash prise (see PRISES).

2009 - 20109 Qualifyers

Congratulations to Gareth Williams who, as the Winner of this season's competition qualifies for next season's competition.
N.B.
Due to this being the first season, next season we will need to adjust the format slightly. Therefore, qualifiers for next season will still consist of the top three in each Division. The Winner of the Super Cup this season will also automatically qualify, leaving one remaining place.
Due to Gareth obtaining two of teh qualifying places, both the 4th placed managers, Brett Taylor and Loretta Webb will qualify and contest a two-leg play-off at the start of next season to reach the group stages.
